Our General English programme develops speaking, listening, reading and writing through practical, structured and engaging lessons.

The course follows a CEFR-based progression and combines grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and practical communication. Students work on real-life situations such as introducing themselves, asking for information, making arrangements, participating in conversations and expressing opinions.

Course Structure

  • Weekly course: one week at a time.
  • Three-month course: structured short-term progression.
  • Six-month course: extended language development.
  • One-year course: comprehensive long-term progression.

Short-term students can join every Monday, subject to availability and placement-test arrangements.

Each standard week includes:

  • 20 lessons
  • 45 minutes per lesson
  • 15 hours of classroom learning per week
  • Integrated practice in speaking, listening, reading and writing

A minimum of 3 students is required per class; otherwise, reduced teaching hours may be applied.

A1 — Beginner

Basic vocabulary, introductions, simple questions and everyday expressions.

A2 — Elementary

Routine communication, practical situations and simple conversations.

B1 — Intermediate

Independent communication, opinions, descriptions and everyday problem-solving.

B2 — Upper-intermediate

More fluent interaction, discussion and more developed written communication.

C1 — Advanced

Accurate, flexible communication in academic, professional and social contexts.

Assessment and Feedback

Students complete an initial placement assessment to identify the most suitable class and level. Progress is monitored through participation, classroom activities, assignments and periodic assessment. Students receive feedback on their strengths and areas for development. At the end of the course, students may receive a certificate of attendance or completion, subject to the school’s academic and attendance requirements.
